2. The Diplomat (Netflix)
Keri Russell returns to thrilling TV in The Diplomat, in which she plays the new US ambassador to the UK. Russell’s character is married to a former ambassador, played by Rufus Sewell from The Man in the High Castle. As the couple navigates diplomatic tensions, their personal relationship adds another layer of intrigue to this thrilling political drama.
3. Silo (Apple TV+)
Based on the book Wool, Silo takes place in a dystopian universe where humanity lives underground in a silo. Generations have passed, and the inhabitants have no idea why or how they got there. They’ve been told that the surface of the earth is uninhabitable, but some are willing to test that assumption, setting the stage for a gripping and suspenseful story.
4. Jury Duty (Freevee)
The first ad-based video on-demand (AVOD) show of the year to make Reelgood’s list, Jury Duty is a season-long prank on one unsuspecting participant who believes he’s serving on a jury. In reality, he’s on a hidden-camera TV show surrounded by actors. This unique premise provides plenty of laughs and surprises along the way.
5. Ghosted (Apple TV+)
In Ghosted, Chris “Captain America” Evans plays a man who falls in love with a woman (Ana de Armas) and follows her across the world, despite knowing very little about her. He soon discovers that she’s a spy, making their courtship all the more difficult and dangerous. This action-packed romantic adventure is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
6. Succession (HBO Max)
Who will inherit the family business in the hit series Succession? With the Roy children’s alliance growing tenuous and the fate of their father’s company at stake, each sibling must navigate the treacherous waters of power and loyalty. As the season progresses, the drama and tension only increase, making Succession a must-watch for binge-watchers everywhere.
7. Citadel (Prime Video)
Stanley Tucci, Richard Madden, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas star in Citadel, a thrilling spy series about a covert agency “loyal to no nation.” Betrayed by former comrades, the agents must fight to save their organization and stop those who double-crossed them. With a tagline like “You need to remember the past to save the future,” Citadel promises plenty of action and intrigue.
8. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (Netflix)
This six-episode prequel to the popular Bridgerton series serves as the backstory for Queen Charlotte, who married King George III within hours of meeting him. Like its predecessor, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is filled with soapy, melodramatic fun and plenty of romance.
9. Scream VI (Paramount+)
The iconic slasher franchise returns with Scream VI, featuring many of the original cast members (minus those who met their demise in previous installments). Once again, Ghostface terrorizes its victims, making for a thrilling and suspenseful ride for fans of the series.
10. Peter Pan & Wendy (Disney+)
Disney’s classic Peter Pan gets a live-action treatment in Peter Pan & Wendy, starring Jude Law as Captain Hook. This new adaptation stays true to the original story while adding a fresh twist, making it a must-watch for fans of the timeless tale.
